The Proprietor’s
Chris and Signy de Verenne, have considerable experience in the Caring Profession and have owned and operated Care Homes since 1987, they take great pride in the standard and quality of care offered.
Signy is a Registered General Nurse with experience working both in the N.H.S. and private health care, whilst Chris, formally a Professional Engineer is now responsible for the general management and administration.
Assitant Manager
Their eldest daughter, Rebecca, has a Masters in Drama and Theatre Studies and has recently qualified as a Hypnotherapist. She has previously worked as a Care Assistant at Bindon and now works alongside her parents supporting them with the administration and the day-to-day running of the business.Charlotte is currently working in Ghana, Africa as a volunteer for a charity, Frontier Ghana, supporting GAP year youngsters in orphanages in the area.
The Deputy Manager
David Gardner has achieved NVQ qualification to level 4 in Adult Social Care. David has worked in the care profession since leaving full time education. He has very good supervisory skills which he has put to good use in palliative, nursing and residential care.
The Rest of the Team
We consider our staff to be our greatest asset; their professionalism and dedication determine the success and reputation of the home.
We have a team of 24 full and part time care staff who are working towards or have exceeded NVQ level II. They work alongside a dedicated ancillary team who provide a vital role in the daily smooth running of Bindon Care.
The staffing levels ensure that residents are cared for safely and have access to care staff 24 hours a day.
